Project Manager & Researcher, Tokyo 20XX
Kasumi grew up in a bicultural household, splitting her education between Japan and the U.S. and learning to navigate the cultural dichotomy from an early age. She graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo with a degree in Social Sciences, and then interned at the Tokyo office of strategic insight consultancy, Flamingo.
Prior to joining MullenLowe Group Japan in 2018, Kasumi worked at Japanese investment business conglomerate Marubeni, as well as at international business intelligence software company Meltwater, proving herself equally comfortable and capable on either end of the cultural divide. Now a project manager and researcher at MullenLowe Group Japan, working on brands including Dropbox and Schick, Kasumi brings a vital cross-cultural sensitivity to the Tokyo 20XX offering, deep experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methodology, and thrives on the challenge of communicating subtle cultural nuances to stakeholders from all backgrounds.
